Case Study:
The Challenge
After Hurricane Michael impacted the Panhandle of Florida in October 2018, the federal government made assistance available to homeowners who had yet to receive aid in rebuilding or repairing their homes. The Rebuild Florida Housing and Replacement program was a state program launched with federal funding to help Florida’s long-term recovery efforts from the devastating impacts of natural disasters.
The Project
The project worked to connect homeowners who had unmet needs relating to damage to their homes from Hurricane Michael with the federal aid funds made accessible via DEO.
We were the prime vendor for the Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery marketing program for Hurricane Michael Impacted Counties. Our work on this $1.5 million project included developing a communications strategy and deploying a multi-channel campaign aimed at encouraging eligible residents to apply for financial aid. The project included multiple rounds of ads on social media, radio, tv, and mail (English and Spanish language).
