The Challenge

The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) is designed to mitigate financial hardships associated with the COVID-19 pandemic by preventing homeowners’ mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures, and displacements, as well as loss of utilities, home energy services, internet, property and flood insurance, and homeowner or condominium association fees.

The Project

In the wake of the pandemic, the federal government created the Homeowner Assistance Fund to provide mortgage assistance to citizens impacted by the pandemic. The program is administered by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. We provided the agency with marketing services to reach eligible homeowners. This campaign included the support and development of a comprehensive outreach plan, development of messaging (English, Spanish, Haitian-Creole), graphic design and video/audio production, and the management of printing and production of materials to be distributed across the state.
